Hussar buttons are easy to replicate. All you need is seeds, seed pots and a suitable place. And of course you have to bring some patience until you discover the first flowers.

Husaran dumplings are one-year-old summer flowers that are not hardy.
They can not be hibernated in the house, but have to be sown every spring. Propagation is by self-collected or purchased seeds.
If you are missing the "green thumb", you will get early seedlings of the rich flowering hussar heads in the relevant garden trade.
Collect seeds in the fall
You simply collect seeds for the propagation yourself. Do not cut off the last flowers before the autumn, but let them fade, so that seeds can form in them.
Carefully pick the flower heads and knock them out. Since the seed is very fine, you should immediately catch it in a parchment paper bag.
So you sow Husarenkopf out
As a substrate for the culture dishes you use special cultivation soil. Make sure that the earth never dries up, but never gets too moist.
Since the seed is very small, mix it with some fine sand. Then the piking is a bit easier later.
The ideal location for the seedling tray is a warm, bright window. Germination temperatures of 18 degrees are optimal. After about two weeks, the hussar button is sprouted.
Put in the field at the end of May
Once the hussar heads are two to three inches tall, they must be piqued. It is recommended to use a Pikierhölzchen from the garden market.
The Hussar button is planted in individual pots or at intervals of 20 centimeters in balcony boxes and maintained there until planting out.
Huskow pots are only allowed into the open air after the icy saints, as they do not tolerate any frost.
Tips
Hussar button is popular not only for its beautiful yellow flowers. The plant needs almost no care and blooms perennially from June to the first frost. Not even pests make it difficult for the hussar's head.
