Cats are out of danger
Horny violets are not poisonous. Both humans and cats need not shy away from dealing with these plants. They are even edible and give a valuable garnish to various dishes.
You can safely plant the horned violets in the bed, on the balcony and elsewhere. All plant parts are harmless. Also for the following pets are hornbills harmless:
