Your logger is running too slow? There are a few ways you can make your wood splitter faster. But beware! Not all are allowed. Here's what it can do when your log splitter slows down and how you can get it to run faster.

If the wood splitter suddenly slows down, this can have different causes:
If this is the case, first check the oil level and the filter. Then remove the cladding and clean your log splitter as well as possible with a little oil, a cloth and if necessary a brush. Be sure to disconnect your wood splitter from the electricity! On the occasion, check the fit of all screws, as a loose screw can be used e.g. cause the log splitter to stop working.

The speed with which the log splits splits wood is very limited. In Internet forums it is discussed whether one can replace the pump by a more potent one. This theoretically has the desired effect, but in practice it is absolutely not recommended. Hoses, valves and Co. are designed for a certain pressure. If this increases, they may not stand up and may result in bursting of hoses or explosive ejection of parts. This is extremely dangerous for you and other anwee persons!
Also due to legal issues is not recommended tinkering with the wood splitter. If an accident occurs due to a manipulated device, no insurance company will bear the damages - neither personal nor property damage.
Log splitter faster thanks to valve
Nevertheless, there is a possibility to make your wood splitter legally and safely faster: The solution is a differential valve. This ensures that the hydraulic valve expands faster while maintaining the same pressure, thus increasing the splitting speed. However, the difference may not be as impressive as the valve would be worth the 100 € purchase price.

So be patient, or just make a faster wood splitter and sell the old one profitably.
