For example, something older, already tall trees or the gable wall of an already existing residential building is used, which at least partially shields the sun during the midday heat.

Undesirable side effect of this shading: It is constantly effective, even if it is actually not needed because of lack of solar radiation and also causes a very high maintenance costs.
Light requirements of the plants are very different
When choosing a truly meaningful and nature-adapted shade, it must be assumed that the light requirement can be very different, especially in ornamental plants. In addition, there are long and short-day plants (poinsettia, chrysanthemums), where day and night length are essential for flowering and growth. According to the planted crops, it may therefore make sense that the greenhouse shading differentiated to the respective segments of the hothouse and not in its entirety.
Tips
The fruit plants as well as most of the vegetable varieties that are common in this country are extremely light-colored plants. They must therefore be shaded only in such cases, if the internal temperature in the house rises too high.
