Frangipani over cuttings or from seeds multiply
Frangipani, also known as Plumeria, is one of the succulents. This genus of plants can easily reproduce itself, if you have some basic knowledge. Quite simply, you can pull frangipani from cuttings. Propagation from seeds is tedious and does not always succeed.
Multiply Frangipani - cuttings or seeds?
Frangipani can be propagated in two ways: Either cut cuttings from an existing plant or sow seeds.
The cultivation of cuttings is much easier and runs much faster. Cuttings grown from cuttings often already bloom in the first year, while from Plumeria seeds propagated flowers develop in three years at the earliest.
When growing from seeds, it is a coincidence, which flower color of the frangipani will have later. Cuttings offer the assurance that you get an exact copy of the mother plant.
Pull frangipani from cuttings
Cut the cuttings best in the spring. They should have a length of 25 centimeters each.
When propagating in water glass, the shoots must be about five inches deep in the water. The water should be changed every other day. If you would like to place the offshoots in potting soil, use a mixture of coconut fiber, perlite and cactus soil as substrate.
Place the cuttings in a very bright, warm place. They can not tolerate direct sun. Cuttings rooted in the water glass are repotted as soon as the roots are two to three centimeters long.

For propagation in the culture dish use mixed soil or coconut fiber as substrate with sand. The Keypack is filled with Perlite.
It takes two to five weeks to emerge from the seed.
