The best time to cut cuttings is in May, when the forsythia has withered. Then the shrubs stand well in the juice and have much power to form roots.
Which forsythia branches are particularly well suited?
Choose forsythia twigs from the previous year. They recognize them by the withered flowers that are there. The wood is still slightly greenish.

Prepare cuttings
