Tips for the proper care of the people
The Efeutute is a houseplant from the tropics that, despite its name, has nothing to do with the local ivy. It is pulled exclusively in the room, because frost does not tolerate it. Effectors are relatively easy to care for. However, you should keep a few things in mind when it comes to care.

Use lime-free water for casting. Ideal is rainwater, but also water from the aquarium is ideal.
Do not keep the insects too moist. Casting takes place only when the surface of the substrate has dried to a depth of two centimeters. But the root ball should never be completely dry.
Pour away excess irrigation water after half an hour at the latest. Alternatively, add water to the coaster and let it absorb from the substrate. Repeat this process until the water remains in the coaster. Pour it off.
How high should the humidity be?
As a tropical plant, the Efteutute does not like to dry. An air humidity of 50 to 65 percent is ideal. If the air is too dry, the leaf tips of the ivy turkey turn brown and dry.
How are fertilizers fertilized?
From March to October, the fertilizers are supplied with liquid fertilizer every two to three weeks. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and do not overdo it with fertilizer.
Does the efeutute have to be cut?
The cutting of the Efeutute is possible all year round. The houseplant is well cut compatible. The best time to cut is early spring.

When is repotting necessary?

Individuals are not hardy and are kept in the room all year round. In the period from October to March, the plant gets a little less water. However, it must not completely dry out. It is not fertilized in winter.
Tips
If the ivy get yellow leaves, it can be jaundice (chlorosis). It is caused by too much lime in the substrate or calcareous irrigation water. Occasionally too strong light is responsible for the yellowing.
