To multiply a snow-rose by division is the easiest way to new plants. Wait until after flowering to divide the Christmas rose.
Be sure to dig deep enough to remove the Christmas rose from the ground. The long roots must not be damaged too much. The planting holes for planting should also be dug deep enough.

So that the Christmas rose can multiply itself, do not cut back the Christmas rose after flowering.
In the flowers the seeds ripen in capsules. When ripe, the seed pods open and fall into the bed or are seeded by birds.
Seed to win for sowing
If you would like to sow the snow-rose yourself, collect the ripe seed-capsules from the plant. Put it in a freezer bag and shake it vigorously. The seeds then fall out and can be sown immediately.
The Christmas rose is a cold germ. Seed the seed grains therefore best directly to the desired location in the garden.
If you would like to grow the Christmas roses in the pot, leave the pots on the balcony or terrace after sowing until the first leaves appear.

All parts of the Christmas rose are poisonous, but especially the seeds. Even the consumption of a few seeds can end badly.
Make sure that children and pets can not get to the seeds to avoid accidents.

When propagating through seeds you must expect that the young Christmas roses will not be sorted. The flowers of a Christmas rose grown from seed can be significantly different from those of the mother plant.
