The best location for savory
Savory is considered easy to maintain and is suitable for growing in the garden or in pots on the balcony or on the windowsill. A bit of dryness survives the herb much better than too much wetness.
What does savory really need?
Summer summer savory and mountain savanna both like sunny and warm. Both require a water-permeable soil that is slightly calcareous. They do not tolerate waterlogging. If the ground is too firm, it can be loosened with sand or fine gravel.
Mountain savanna is hardy, but if you have it in a pot on the balcony, then you should better put it in a cool room over the winter. Also the stairwell or the cellar are suitable for it.
