It becomes elegant with white or gray gravel, in which the contrast to colorful flowers is of course particularly large. Select plants and use
For a pebble bed, you should preferably choose plants that can handle the sun and drought well. Perennials such as lavender, sage, thyme and verbena are wonderful, as well as yarrow, soapwort and holy herb. In the following years do not forget to water regularly and to fertilize if necessary - depending on the flower you have planted out. The latter is greatly facilitated by long-term fertilizers already applied during planting.
Tips
Clean the gravel regularly with the water hose, as the stones quickly become dirty. After a few years, they must also be replaced as they weather.
