You can prefer annual and two-year-old summer flowers on the windowsill and put them in the bed in late spring - preferably after the ice saint. Preparation of the flowerbed
Basically, you can plant the flowerbed both in spring and autumn, whereby you can also add bulbous plants and summer flowers later. First, plan the bed with perennials and possibly flowering shrubs. The proper preparation of the bed is important, in which the soil is thoroughly freed from plant residues, loosened - if necessary also dug up - and improved with plenty of compost. Moist and compacted floors also benefit from drainage.
Water flowers before planting
Before you put the flowers in the now prepared bed, you should put them in a container of water and let them soak in moisture. This measure later mainly supports shrubs and shrubs in the formation of new roots and thus helps to grow.
Note planting depth and distance
Next, arrange the plants on the bed as you imagine the ideal grouping. When doing so, observe the correct planting distance and do not bother yourself with gaps that are too large - the perennials will certainly become much larger than they are at the present time. Once you are satisfied with the arrangement, you can dig the planting holes and plant the plants. They should not be planted deeper than they were previously in the container.
Plant flower bulbs properly
When planting flower bulbs, you must necessarily differentiate top and bottom correctly, otherwise the shoot can not push itself to the surface. The underside of most onion species is significantly wider than the more tapered top and often has a slight rooting. Some flower bulbs must also be watered overnight in a jar of lukewarm water before planting.
