The yucca palm should spend the winter in a cooler place
Yucca palm perfect for the bedroom
Many people are afraid to put indoor plants in their bedroom - these would rob the sleeper of the oxygen and thus the restful sleep, they say. Well, most green plants actually absorb oxygen instead of producing it because of the lack of photosynthesis - but the amounts are so small that you would have to put on a jungle to feel any effects.
Beautify your bedroom with green plants
But green plants - fragrant flowering plants should actually keep you out of the bedroom - make this room more comfortable. In particular, a yucca "palm", which is actually no palm, beautifies bare corners and gives the eye a green Ruhepol. Just make sure that the plant gets enough light and is poured according to the light. During the winter months, it makes sense to remove the yucca from the living room to the bedroom - the plant needs a winter break in cooler temperatures, which is why it is better off in the bedroom, which is often not heated at all or only slightly heated.
Tips
Some green plants produce oxygen even at night, which is why they are especially recommended for the bedroom. These include popular indoor plants such as hipped bow, ficus (birch fig), mountain palm or a leaf.
