For the first stage in the beauty program, the lawnmower is used. Mow the green area at the lowest level. Then scrub the lawn longitudinally and transversely to comb out all the weeds and moss. Please set the scarifier to a depth between 2 and 4 mm. The clippings are completely swept off with the rake.

Instructions for skilful seeding - How to do it right

Lawn seeds can be sprinkled by hand. In order to better estimate the sowing density, weigh a handful of seeds beforehand. Please spread the seed in two directions - first along, then across. Once you have made the necessary ground connection, you will wet the lawn thoroughly.

After scarifying and seeding, keep the lawn slightly moist to keep the seedlings dry. Sprinkle the sown green area in dry weather daily in the early morning or in the evening hours. The first cut receives the lawn with a stature height of 8 to 10 cm.
Tips
Between April and September, the time window is open to scarify a mossy lawn. However, the scarifier should stay in the shed when it rains. Trawling wet grass with the sharp scarifying knives leaves behind a swampy desert that can not be repaired simply by seeding.
