Anyone can build a tomato greenhouse himself - that's how it works
Damp-cold weather sabotages a loving cultivation of tomatoes within a short time. Relentlessly, the dreaded cabbage and brown rot strikes. In the self-built greenhouse, the tomato plants thrive safely and protected. This is how even the untrained hand succeeds.
Material list and preparation work
For the construction to take place without interruption, the tools and materials should be available.
In advance, all woods are impregnated. As the glaze dries, you lift six holes with a depth of 50 centimeters. Four holes form the corner points of a rectangle measuring 200 x 80 centimeters. In the middle of the long sides lay the other two holes.
The basic structure arises
Position the squared timbers vertically in the holes. To get a minimally inclined roof surface, one row of wood is higher than the opposite one. Thus, rainwater can drain faster. The wooden posts are carefully filled.
Now take the 200 centimeter squared timbers at hand. These are placed on the rows of bars, then screwed on. This is followed by the battens, which are fixed by means of an angle.
Install the foil cover
With the finished framework, the main work is done. Now cut the foil to tie it to the wood. Now a helping hand should be welcome. The firmer the greenhouse film is fixed, the better it withstands wind and weather. Of course you do not want to give up a door. Complete this last step as follows:

Tips & Tricks
Add extra stability to your self-built tomato greenhouse by hammering the corner posts into ground sockets. The reasonably priced standard version with a short ground anchor protects the tomato house from wind thunderstorms.
