Which soil and which pots are suitable?

The pot should be sufficiently deep and wide, because this plant can take gigantic proportions! A small Strelitzia that has been bought fresh, can be placed in a 20 cm wide pot. Later, a bucket with a width of up to 50 cm has to be used.
