Even though beach chairs are weatherproof or even winter proof, you should safely overwinter your beach chair. Often, the materials suffer from moisture and frost in winter, so you need to repair the basket afterwards.

It is best to keep your beach chair in a sheltered place in the garage or basement in winter. Moisture and frost otherwise give the material a great deal of trouble.
If you need to overwinter the beach chair outdoors, place it on wooden planks, a wooden pallet or stones to winterize it and protect it from the bottom.
Cover it with a cover for beach chairs that you get in the gardening market. The cover may only be placed when the beach chair is completely dry. On dry days in winter, you should ventilate the cover occasionally, so that the beach chair does not mold.

You can easily sew new covers and fabric covers for your beach chair yourself. Use solid, impregnated fabric to cover. Awning fabric is very suitable.
