Sunflowers are very thirsty plants

If the sunflowers in the garden or in the pot hang heads and leaves, they lack moisture. At least now the handle to the watering can is advisable. It is even better if you water the flowers daily.
Water sunflowers daily
Sunflowers come from North and Central America and therefore like it warm and sunny. But that also means that the soil dries up quickly in summer.
Since sunflowers form a lot of leaves and huge flowers, they need a lot of moisture.
If possible, water your sunflowers every morning or at least once a day. On very hot summer days, you often have to give fresh water twice.
Tips & Tricks
Even if sunflowers have a very high water requirement - they do not like it when their roots are in the water for a long time. This is especially true for sunflowers in the pot. Excess irrigation water should therefore be poured immediately.
