When choosing the species, pay attention to the depth of the tank in your aquarium! Many species need a water depth of more than 70 cm!
Suitable for the culture in the aquarium are the red and the green tiger lotus. These two species are between 20 and 80 cm high. Especially the red-leaved species captivates in the aquarium. It forms a nice contrast to other green aquatic plants with its red leaves. Both species readily grow flowers when care is right.
Also recommended for aquariums is the Green Dwarf Lake. This water lily species remains small in size and forms only a few floating leaves. This has the advantage that it does not throw so much shadow.
