Is gypsophila poisonous?

The healing effect of the gypsophila
In small doses gypsophila is even a cure. It contains saponins, which have a slime and cough effect. In addition, they increase the permeability of the intestinal wall, so other substances are absorbed more easily, unfortunately, undesirable. Substantial damage is caused to saponins when they enter the bloodstream. They destroy the red blood cells there. By the saponins gypsophila is also a mild detergent.
