Can you slow down a slide?
For some children, slipping can not be fast enough, while others prefer it a bit slower. If you know what your kids want before they start building, it's easy to adjust the slide accordingly.
In this case, simply make the chute flatter. The easiest way to achieve this is to lower the frame for the slide. An alternative would be to slightly increase the end of the slide. However, you should make sure that the "exit" from the slide is not too high and your children do not fall.

When you have finished your slide and realize that it is too fast for your children, then a change is difficult. If the children are still quite small, then the slow slipping may only be necessary for a relatively short time. A possible option would be the choice of a slip-resistant clothing or pants. Just try it out.
