Cutting lawn edging stones - That's how it's done
Lawn edging stones are not always the right size. Therefore, they sometimes have to be tailored to the required dimensions. To make the cut, you need the pase tool and the right technology.

1. Mark
Measure exactly what dimensions your lawn edge stones should have and mark the interfaces on both sides (!) Of the stone.
2. Cutting
Lay the stone on a flat, firm surface and first pull a straight, flat cut along the mark in one go to make a straight cut. Then drive several times with more pressure into this mark until you have cut about halfway through the stone.
While it is cutting a second person should use a water hose to run a fine trickle of water on the stone. Thus, the disc is cooled and there is no dust flying.
3. Cut completely
Now turn the stone over and cut from the other side to the middle. It is of great importance that you have measured correctly so that the cuts meet right in the middle.
Cut until the stone is completely severed. Alternatively, you can break up small stones with a hammer and chisel after cutting them on both sides.
