The primroses have withered: Now is time to plant!
The primroses in the pot in the apartment have faded. But that is no reason to dispose of them in the bio-bin. Who has a garden, now has the opportunity to plant the primroses there.
Benefits of planting primroses
The planting of primroses has several advantages:

If the primroses have withered in the pot - which is usually the case between March and April - they can be planted in the garden. It is best, however, to plant them only when no frost is expected. There are primrose species that tolerate frost less well.
Find a good location and ground
First, look for a live location before you go to work. Primroses prefer to grow in a partially shaded position. Even in the sun, they thrive easily. However, they should not be planted in a full sun-facing location that faces south.

Plant out step by step
First, a large planting hole with a diameter of 20 cm and a depth of about 20 cm should be dug at the chosen location. The earth in it is well broken up. Some compost gives the primroses a good start into field life.
Now the flowered primrose is released from the pot. If necessary, too long and lean roots are cut off. The primrose is placed in the planting hole together with its root ball. Now it is covered with earth.
Finally, the earth is pressed and the primrose is poured liberally. Rainwater is best for watering, as primroses do not like lime. If you plant several primroses, you should keep a minimum distance of 10 cm between the individual plants.
Tips & Tricks
Many primroses bloom a second time in summer. The prerequisite is that they are in a shady and cool location.
