The right timing

Quickly divide and multiply
Transplanting is ideal for simultaneously dividing and multiplying the plant. But: Only older plants are suitable! Simply divide the root piece with a spade or a sharp, clean knife.
Each piece obtained should have at least 3 buds. When inserting, pay attention to a planting distance of half the growth width of the respective variety. After casting, it will not be long before the multiplication is successful!

If you decide to divide your peony, keep in mind that it will take at least 2 years for the new cuts to flower for the first time!
