Take care when fertilizing parsley
In order for the parsley to grow well in the garden or on the balcony, it needs a lot of nutrients. It is best to provide nutritious soil when sowing. Under no circumstances may you fertilize the herbs with fresh compost or manure.
Parsley is growing slowly
Parsley is one of the slow-growing plants. Impatient gardeners, too slow to grow, tend to fertilize the herbs to make them grow.
For parsley, this is not appropriate. Too much and wrong fertilizer ensures that the plants are absorbed or lose their aroma.
Just give parsley the time it needs to grow and be sparing with fertilizer.

When the parsley turns yellow, it may be that the soil is too acidic. This often happens when a lot of conifers grow in the garden. The needles spread on the ground and lead to hyperacidity.
In this case, it makes sense to lime the soil around the parsley. Lime neutralizes the acid and creates better soil conditions for the spice plant.
