How do I promote the growth of moss in the garden?
Moss is not one of the seeds in the plant kingdom. In order to stimulate growth in the garden, you can make a contribution by choosing the right location and a pase substrate backing. How that works, we explain here.
So movement comes into the moss growth
Native moss species achieve their optimum in low-light, humid locations at temperatures between 15 and 20 degrees Celsius. In the dry, full sun, however, you will wait in vain for a rapid growth of the fluffy-green carpet. If you also plant moss on one of the following substrates, the rootless spore plant is no longer so restrained:
Alternatively, make a viscous mixture of shredded, washed moss pieces and buttermilk and coat it with a suitable substrate.
