This mint is not good for cats
The multifaceted variety of aromatic species and varieties arouses in hobby gardeners the great passion for collecting. As a blessed cat subject you can safely dedicate yourself to this passion as long as you leave this mint out:
Polei mint is recognizable by its creeping, seldom ascending growth. The tiny leaves are ovate to oval and sit opposite on thin hairy stems. From July to September, a pale pink or white flower appears. The plant also exudes a sharp, low-aromatic scent. Preparation as a tea is strongly discouraged. Pulegon is not only toxic to cats, but also to humans.
