A fountain does not have to be expensive

Build mini-fountains with clay pots yourself - That's how it works

In the living room, on the balcony or the terrace, a large fountain naturally has no place. In contrast, a small fountain fits almost everywhere - especially if you only need two clay pots and a clay bowl. We will explain how this small air freshener is built in no time.

You need these materials

You do not need many materials for this pretty mini fountain, which can even be installed in the conservatory or in the living room. You should get this at the hardware store:

This is how the clay pot fountain is made

And this is how the little piece of jewelry is made: First, you attach several holes to one of the two clay pots all around. These should be in the lower half of the pot bottom. Be careful, the sound breaks easily. Now place the clay bowl at the desired location and fill it with water. The small submersible pump - careful, choose only a small strength, otherwise the water squirts too strong! - hide in the non-drilled clay pot, place it with the open side down on the shell. Now place the drilled clay pot so that the two drainage holes are exactly on top of each other and the water can flow unhindered. You can glue the two pots together with silicone, then they will hold better. The hose in turn is attached to the pump and led up through the drainpipe. Afterwards you can go to the decoration of the small fountain:

Waterproof, perhaps colorful LED lights provide additional effects and also make the stones shine beautifully. The water is transported from the pump into the upper pot after connection to the socket and exits from the previously installed holes.

Tips

Not only from clay pots, but also from a single, slightly larger and drilled stone can be a simple mini fountain tinker. With the choice of spray nozzles, you can achieve pretty effects.
