Will the pumpkin flower be removed?
A pumpkin flower is the linchpin for beautiful fruits. It wants to be well thought out. This is especially true for female flowers, which already carry a mini-pumpkin as fruit set. Each specimen that you cut out of the plant therefore means one less pumpkin. On the other hand, every pumpkin costs the mother plant a lot of power, so only a limited number should grow.
Make a decision on how many pumpkins you want to harvest. The appropriate number of female flowers left on the plant. The remaining copies are the pruner to the victim. Preferably, shorten the entire shoot except for two or three leaves.
