What is better for watering the hedge: drip hose or pearl hose?
A hedge that is several meters long, possibly encircling the whole garden, is only armed with a watering can to provide it with sufficient water on hot and dry days. An easy-to-install irrigation hose provides a remedy and ensures a uniform release of moisture.
Is there a difference between drip and pearl hose?
Even if it says so many manufacturers: The differences between drip hose and bead tube are marginal and practically not available. Both variants are perforated garden hoses of any length, which allow water to escape at certain intervals and so water the hedge. At the same time, the moisture only appears droplets or pearls, it is virtually "sweaty". That is also the reason why these irrigation hoses are called "sweat hoses".
Irrigation hoses have many advantages
Irrigation hoses such as the drip and hoses give off very little water at once. This is advantageous for hedge plants for a variety of reasons:

Beaded hoses and drip hoses are very flexible and can be adapted to any routing. Although these irrigation hoses can also be laid underground, they clog up in these cases - and thus no longer fulfill their task. An above-ground installation is therefore preferable, with the hoses simply passing them where they are actually needed. Also make sure that you do not exceed the maximum length specified in the product description, otherwise the plants will die of thirst at the end of this very long line, because simply nothing arrives to you. Although most models require a water pressure of between 0.1 and 0.5 bar for the system to work, these values are easily accessible on most garden faucets.
Tips
If possible, water early in the morning to keep evaporation rates low and save water.
