Cucumbers fertilize when planting

Cucumbers fertilize during growth
Cucumber plants are heavy feeders and need a lot of feed in the form of fertilizer so that they develop plenty of healthy fruits until harvest. Foliar fertilization with self-made nettle gruel supports the cucumbers during their growth period with minerals and protects against dangerous pests. Just spray cucumber leaves all over with nettle. Stinging nettle can be made easily and free of charge. That's how it's done:
Place the stinging nettle in a sunny spot in the garden and stir daily. After 2 to 3 weeks pour the mixture through a sieve. Dilute the manure with water at a ratio of 1:10 and pour cucumber plants once a week and spray.
Cucumbers fertilize during flowering
Cucumber plants need magnesium and trace elements during flowering. In addition, loosen soil and incorporate some rock flour. After a short time, you should see the positive effect visible through abundant fruiting.
Less fertilization is more
Those who give too much fertilizer before fruiting, receives bushy plants with lush leaves, but little fruit. If no slow release fertilizer is used every 2 weeks when cucumber pour liquid fertilizer. When the cucumber plants are blooming and first fruits form then fertilize weekly.
Cucumber plants are sensitive to salt. They require little nitrogen and chlorine. Therefore avoid fertilizer with high nitrogen or chlorine content. Blue Grain is particularly suitable for cucumbers in the bucket. But beware! The fertilizer is poorly dosed and increases the salt content in the soil, which can burn the roots. Not every soil has to be fertilized additionally. If it is composted and nutritious, too much fertilizer will damage quickly. Since cucumbers are a food you should rather give organic fertilizer.
