Half-moon-eroded leaf margins are a typical damage image, which indicates an infestation. The beetles go in search of food from May to June. They lay their eggs on the ground so that the larvae can feed on the roots. This causes the leaves to dry up due to a lack of water.
Scan the plant and soil in the evening and remove the beetles. Hedgehogs and shrews are natural enemies of the weevil, which you can promote in your garden. Special HM nematodes, which are added to the irrigation water, help against the larvae.

Strong and healthy plants are rarely haunted by pests. Strengthen your shrubs regularly with a decoction of plant extracts. For making nettle, horsetail or tansy is suitable. Garlic additionally has a deterrent effect on aphids. In case of an infestation, spray the garlic broth directly on the leaves.
