Every building has to be stable and safe, so it's good for the home garden: Anchoring a careful greenhouse is a must. This requires no profound expertise, but some structural peculiarities and general laws of statics must be adhered to.

Whether purchased as a prefabricated kit or as an individual unique piece and built piece by piece - to anchor the new greenhouse, you should very carefully. After all, every morning it has to be in exactly the same place it was left the night before. With the classic concrete foundation achieved the highest stability and it can also be quite easily and inexpensively built on their own. Prefabricated houses often include a special fixing set, which consists of columns and eyes to be inserted into the floor and which can be anchored to the greenhouse with the help of steel cables.

It should be noted that, depending on the size of the new greenhouse, construction permits may even be required in some federal states. Also the optimal and mostly final location selection is important to consider, because later corrections are hardly possible to operate without much effort. If it is intended to use the greenhouse year round and to heat it if necessary, the closed foundation plate is the optimal solution.

Anchor greenhouse, preferably even frost-proof

This means that the depth of the pit should be between 60 and 80 cm, which is next to the desired stability later also allows the plants under grow to optimal climatic conditions and heating energy is required only very moderately. Anchor ready sets to the greenhouse

By principle, these kits work much like a point foundation, except that the anchors are embedded in the ground slightly outside of the outer walls. There are also manual tensioning devices that are supposed to ensure that the metal ropes are as close as possible to the outer shell of the greenhouse.
