There is not a single species of fern that blooms
Does the fern form a flower?
You have never seen a fern in bloom? Why is that? at the wrong time in the wrong place? Or do ferns not show any flowers?
Ferns have no flowers
The real ferns are so-called spore plants. They do not produce flowers, fruits or even seeds. But sometimes the spores appear as if they were flowers. For example, the royal fern produces numerous spore capsules reminiscent of flowers.
Gloxinia are not ferns
Sometimes gloxinia are offered in commerce, which are falsely referred to as 'flowering ferns':

Although ferns do not form flowers, they are a valuable aspect in the garden with their summer-green, winter-green to evergreen fronds as they feel particularly good where other plants struggle.
