Chamomile flowers between May and September

The flower shape of the chamomile reminds a little of a marginal daisy. The very branchy waking herb has strong yellow flower heads, of which usually between 20 and 40 tongue-shaped, white jet leaves depart. The flower basket is concave, bent upwards and partly hollow inside. The plant blooms from mid-May to September, with the main harvest being in June and July. Traditionally, the rich in content flowers are harvested around June 24, the St. John's Day. The flower heads should already be fully opened, but not yet withered.
