Dragon trees are not least popular houseplants because they are basically relatively easy to care for. If the leaves of the dragon tree suddenly show brown spots, you should definitely take the time for a more detailed analysis of any problems.
It is not always diseases that have to be blamed
The dragon tree should distinguish between brown spots in the middle of the leaf, brown leaf tips and yellowing or browning and dying leaves. While regular dying of the lowest leaves at the same time as new leaves are normal, the location of brown leaves should be checked and the humidity readjusted. Many plant diseases can only spread to the affected plants massively if they are already weakened by deficiency symptoms and care mistakes. Thoughtful and prudent care is therefore the best way to prevent various leaf diseases of the dragon trees.
Tips
In bad cases, dragon trees with many brown spots on the leaves are sometimes beyond saving. In general, proper fertilization in the dragon tree in conjunction with the right amount of sunlight and water can provide a strong defense against fungal spores and bacteria.
