The season of mushrooms
In nature, the different varieties of mushrooms are usually season only from late summer to autumn. If you want to grow mushrooms yourself, you can do so in the basement or greenhouse all year round.
All year round fresh mushrooms and dry
Although it is possible to dry mushrooms similar to other types of mushrooms, fresh mushrooms are also available year-round from cultivated crops. With an appropriately inoculated substrate, mushrooms can be grown around the year in the cellar or in a dark and isolated garden shed around the year.
Tips & Tricks
Prepared culture crates and inoculants for mushrooms are available in various grades from specialist retailers. So it is no problem for beginners among the mushroom growers to harvest tasty mushrooms.
