This is how bush beans are sown
In mid-May, it's time to sow the frost-sensitive bush beans. In the warm soil they germinate within ten to fourteen days. The simplest method is direct sowing in the bed. It is also possible to pre-cultivate the bush beans in the pot on the warm windowsill, in the greenhouse or in the cold frame.

You can sow bush beans directly in the bed. They are only two to three inches deep. So they use upper, heated soil layers for germination and penetrate faster to the surface.

After laying the seeds, gently rake soil over and pour lightly. For germination, the moisture in the soil is often enough.

For an earlier harvest, you can germinate bush beans indoors as well. This will happen from April in small flower pots on the windowsill. The small plants will be put into the bed from May.
