The main active ingredients are calcium oxalates and oxalic acid. Poisoning is found in humans and animals by irritated mucous membranes, increased urinary excretion, vomiting and diarrhea. As a remedy for anxiety, hysteria, neuralgia and headache, Begonia infusion is used.
