A trellis can be made of different materials

Tips

If the shoots of raspberries or blackberries are fixed to a climbing aid with binding wire or other materials at certain times, these can later be distinguished from freshly regrown shoots. This can be an important information gain for the pruning of the varieties cultivating the two-year shoots.
