Farm orchids are very floriferous and will delight you for a long time with their pretty, multicolored flowers. The flowering period of the annual ornamental plant can be extended if you cut back the farm orchid vigorously after the first flowering.

Farm orchids enjoy increasing popularity, not least because of their long flowering period. From spring to late summer they develop many colorful flowers.
The first flowering comes to an end in June. Thereafter, significantly fewer flowers develop - unless you cut back the farm orchid vigorously.
By cutting back, you promote the development of new shoots, where more flowers form. The plant also has more power for new inflorescences available.
Tips
Maintain the poisonous farm orchid in the bucket or flower box, ensure sufficient nutrients. Fertilize the ornamental plant every fourteen days with liquid fertilizer. In the field, it is sufficient if the soil is enriched with compost before planting.
