Classic apple trees have a treetop that depends in size and height on the tree shape as a bush, half-stem or high stem. Certain varieties are also suitable for a hedge-like trellis.
As privacy, the apple tree is rather unsuitable

Apple trees in hedgerow or trellis form have the advantage that they are easier to reach for care measures and harvesting of older people. However, caution should be exercised as the risk of fungal diseases increases near the ground due to the lower wind ventilation.
Targeting the right plants
