How often should I water my Amaryllis?
Because the subtropical amaryllis thrives as an onion flower, it is at risk of excess moisture due to rot. To pour according to a firmly cemented schedule is therefore not recommended. We will gladly explain to you how to provide your Ritterstern with precise water.
How to pour your Ritterstern correctly
After planting, do not water the amaryllis at all, otherwise it will only expel leaves. Only when the first buds present, start with the water supply. That is how it goes:
Proportional to the growth of flowers and leaves, the degree of evaporation increases, so you pour now more often. This water supply will continue until July, to gradually reduce the casting volume this month. As of August, the Ritterstern will not receive any more water until the beginning of the next sprouting.
