Do not plant watery hearts until mid-April
The problem is namely the fact that the bleeding heart is very sensitive to frost. In winter, this is not a problem, after all, the plant retreats immediately after flowering in its underground roots and drives out again in the spring. However, the new shoots are particularly at risk in early spring and must therefore u. a. be protected by a cover. It is therefore important to plant the Bleeding Heart as late as possible, but you should not be allowed too much time - the perennial flowers from May at the latest. The best time is ergo from about mid-April.
Tips
