Adhesive for pond liners
First, you must always distinguish what type of film is installed in your pond. For PVC films and PE films you must use other adhesives than for EPDM films.
Even if you want to repair damage underwater, you need to use special glue. You can only use ordinary PVC adhesives on dry films. For EPDM films, you should always carry out a drainage before repairing. So you can seal more thoroughly.
Requirements for glue
If you want to apply an adhesive in a fish or swimming pond underwater, you should first make sure of a few things:

However, if you drain the pond before repairing the damaged area, do not refill it until 1 or 2 days after repair. As a result, most need adhesives until they create a truly permanent tight connection at the splice.
