What should I consider when planting?
Before you plant your shrubs in the soil, you should always thoroughly water the root ball, which makes it easier for the shrub to grow. Let it stand in the water until no more air bubbles rise. The planting hole is about twice as large as the container in which you bought your shrub.
Slightly loosen the soil in the planting hole so that the roots can spread out more easily and add some mature compost as a fertilizer, possibly also coarse gravel or stones as a drainage layer.
