The simplest is the division of this perennial. At best, the division takes place in the spring. But the fall is also appropriate. Also, if you do not want to multiply the sunburn, you should divide it every 3 to 4 years to rejuvenate it.
For sharing only older, strong perennials are used. Dig out the root system and divide it (if necessary several times) with a spade. The outer parts are the best offshoots. The parts in the middle are exhausted and less suitable for replanting.
After splitting, the individual and newly obtained seedlings are planted separately. There should be a minimum distance of 30 cm between each plant.
Sow seeds - very easy
The sowing of Helenium is uncomplicated. That's how it's done:

Last but not least, propagation by means of cuttings works with Helenium. For this you should choose strong plants. The time has come in the summer until late summer. It is ideal if you combine the cuttings extraction with pruning or removing old inflorescences of the plant.
For the cuttings extraction only the basal parts of the plant come into question. They are stable enough and are planted in pots with potting soil. The first winter, the cuttings should stay inside. They should not come outside until next spring. Remember to water the cuttings for rooting!
Tips
If you do not want to get seeds, you should cut off the withered flowers. The formation of the seed stems robs the sun bride otherwise much unnecessary force. The further advantage: The plant develops new flower buds until autumn.
