Recommended winter protection in the bed and on the balcony
It takes several years for a butterfly shrub to be hardy. Dwarf varieties in the tub are threatened by frost damage even in advanced age. Therefore, we would like to recommend the following precautions:
There is no reason to worry if the shoots freeze in winter. Since a butterfly shrub blossoms on young wood, cut all branches back in spring, except for 2 or 3 eyes.
