For one thing, all faded flowers should now be cut off. Now the leaves are yellowish and dry up quickly. They too are removed. The tuber extracts the last nutrients from the plant parts. Therefore, you can fertilize the plant until the leaves are yellowed.

Furthermore, the casting should be throttled at the end of the flowering period. The earth does not have to be kept moist anymore. In order to be well prepared for the wintertime, it is advisable to now and then let the soil of the ranunculus dry. That's the signal for the tuber to stop driving.
