Why mushrooms often also grow bark mulch in the garden
Bark mulch is a natural product from the forest, which also contains microscopic spores of wood-degrading fungi. That is why it can come to the sudden increased growth of mushrooms without the intention of a mushroom cultivation in the garden.
Prevent unwanted fungal attack
Although some fungi that appear on bark mulch can be quite colorful, they are rather undesirable to many garden owners. Often it helps to prick the visible fruiting bodies of the mushrooms with a spade and to bury them, so that they can not spread further through spores.
Tips & Tricks
