The Palisanderbaum comes from the tropics and does not like cold at all
The Palisanderbaum is not hardy
The home of the Palisander tree lies in the tropics of South America. There he is never exposed to cold, so the tree is not hardy. Palisander trees are therefore either kept in the room all year round or overwintered after a summer on the terrace frost-free in the house.

Since the Palisanderbaum does not tolerate any cold, it must either spend the whole year in the house or be put over the winter in a frost-free place.
If you move it around the house all year round, it is allowed to stand in its usual place in winter, and it does not have to be kept cooler. A location directly next to or above the heater does not get him.
A good place to spend the winter
If you tend the Palisanderbaum in the summer on the terrace or the balcony, you must bring him in time before the winter in the house. Cooler than ten degrees, the outside temperatures should be no case.
As winter quarters, there are rooms in which the temperatures are around 15 degrees and which are as bright as possible:
How to care for the Palisander tree in winter
The Palisanderbaum is regularly poured in the winter, without waterlogging arises. Fertilization is in winter only in fortnightly intervals.
In winter he loses all leaves
That the Palisanderbaum throws off all the leaves in winter, is quite normal for our latitudes. It is simply too dark here, and even plant light often can not provide enough light.
That is not a cause for concern. In the spring, the Palisanderbaum pushes new and develops until the next winter his filigree, up to 40 cm long pinnate leaves.
Get used to the fresh air after the winter break
From May, it's time to get the Palisander tree back to the fresh air. First put it outside by the hour as soon as it is warm enough. In the first time you should avoid direct sunlight.
Tips
For a palisander to blossom, it must be at least two meters high. In room culture, this usually does not succeed. The rosewood is therefore primarily grown as a green plant or bonsai.
